Virginia Beach police say man killed by officer during Friday night’s violence was ‘brandishing’ a gun

Donovan Lynch, a former football player for Norfolk Christian School and the University of Virginia’s College at Wise, died from gunshots to his torso and thigh, according to a medical examiner.
